The song "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey was a musical phenomenon, spawning multiple remixes that seemed to receive at least equal amounts of broadcast time as the original. When Old Dirty Bastard (R.I.P.) contributed his unique verbal abilities to "Fantasy", it became more than just a pop R&B song somehow, it became a part of pop culture. J.J. thinks so anyways. J had no idea why this song was a fantasy. Mariah was rich, & famous at this point (more than likely), so why would she have to fantasize when she could probably have what ever she wants? But as relationships come & go, as regrets accumulate in ones life, it becomes all to familiar why a relationship maybe nothing more than a fantasy. J.J. is a sappy Cancer the crab. A water sign known for deep emotions. J.J. is prone to falling in love. When a lasting relationship is impossible, for whatever reason (long distance, secret infidelity, professional sex worker, etc) fantasy & delusion can be utilized in order to justify continuing to see a person you know damn well you have no future with, making the eventual heartbreak what much more profound. In any case, "I'm In Heaven" is an original song, with an introduction the does pay homage to "fantasy", in an attempt to set the mood.
