J.J. Styles has enjoyed the sound of Nirvana ever since the 1992 SPIN magazine Nevermind issue, when he discovered them. When J discovered all the YouTube videos from the "With The Lights Out" unreleased & rare tracks of Nirvana collection, it was like discovering the band all over again. In an attempt to interpret what "With The Lights Out" might mean to Kurt, this song was made. The story of how Kurt Cobain lost his virginity has been widely disseminated. The descriptions surround his virginity taker are anything but flattering. People are cruel, & the things they say are crueler. J.J. had low self esteem growing up, feeling insecure about looking like a big fat bull dyke lesbian. Wether or not J.J. resembled such a person, or not, people did sometimes think he was a girl, & he was at least 70-80 pounds overweight. These days things like that don't matter so much it seems, or maybe they do. It's tough to describe what this song is all about, because the listener should attempt to try & understand it on several different levels, from different points of view, at the very least.
